Vision:

Much like a gardener would plant a certain species of tree in a specific place both so it thrives and enhances the overall beauty of the arboretum, choosing when and where to buy or sell a home depends on both practical needs and overarching vision. The idea of a “dream home” exists because the “dream” has all the necessities and provides a space that’s suited to what you value most. Typically, that ideal determines your wish-list when it comes time to buy a property. But the average Coloradan cannot buy the “dream” as their first home. So then, what do you prioritize? Should you purchase a home if it is not what you really want? Or, what happens when your dreams change—when jobs shift, kids move out or you realize you could invest in other properties? As with different species of trees, different stages of life have different needs and may be suited to different places. Yet we believe that buying and selling homes intentionally can become so much more than checking features off of a wishlist or moving when life shifts. We practice being rooted in the present, with its particular needs and hopes, while envisioning how today’s actions might make the “dream” and the dreams we have yet to imagine possible. When we look at life and all her seasons, we hope to see not just individual trees, properties bought and sold, but arboretums, where every place we tend for a time works together to create a beautiful, cohesive life lived intentionally for the good of ourselves, our communities and those we love.
